First responders arrived on the scene to pick up the boy and reunite him with his parents.

How does a 3-year-old end up on the highway? You can't take your eyes off a youngster for a moment.

That is a good question since Ed wants to know how did a child wind up in the median.

What an incredible story! Ed Coleman’s quick thinking and willingness to act in a dangerous situation really made a difference. It’s inspiring to see someone put the safety of a child above all else without expecting recognition. His humility in saying he was just doing his job makes the act even more admirable. It’s a reminder of how ordinary people can become heroes through simple, courageous choices. Hopefully, one day he will meet the boy’s parents and see the full impact of his actions. Stories like this restore faith in human kindness and selflessness.

At least the toddler seemed to be smart enough to keep to the median strip, but he was still in danger from nasty types who, might have picked him up for their own foul purposes, and so it was good, the truck driver picked him up, before anything nasty happened to the young lad.
