and Merry Christmas! It is 45 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 50. We are expecting 3-6 inches of snow tomorrow. Ugh.
I was up early but went back to bed until almost 11am. Normally I'd be showered and getting dressed to go to my sister's house but I made the decision to just skip it all today. I am not in the mood to deal with everything for hours and hours. I'm not even going to feel bad about it. I'm just not. I'm waiting for a nasty text from my mother but whatever.
Sooooo I'll be here with the cat crew today. Fine with me. What's everyone else up to today?

Whole lotta nothin’. I’m going to do some laundry, but that’s about the extent of it.
Merry Christmas. One of the best presents you can give yourself is peace, so you’re doing the right thing to not go if you don’t feel like dealing with it.

@MarieCoyle Not really any fog here, although on the turnpike this morning there was a tad. It was a beautiful day.

The foggy conditions went away for awhile, but now it's rolling back in to the area. Hope you all don't have to fight the fog! Last night it was terrible here.

Good you skipped it Chicaa.
Went for a nice walk..its 78F here..wow..
Now inside, already had Christmas Dinner early and now going to watch movies or something.
No stressing allowed.

Our day here is very quiet but it's OK. You did what was right for you, I can surely understand that. I hope you do not get a nasty text from your mother. You are a daughter to be proud of! I hope you had a good day with the kitties!!
