The day after..With Christmas being on a Thursday..it seems like it is going to be one ginormous weekend. I was just wondering whether our trash and recycling area was going to be open today. To add more confusion to the mix..Trump out of the blue (yeah, that's right govern the country on a whim)
. declared the 26 a federal holiday..so not sure what is open or closed..Anyway, looks rainy out there..we won't have snow like most places.

Good morning! Declaring the 26th as a holiday confused me too.
It’s another sunny day, and supposed to be 78 again. My back is bothering me, but yesterday was worth it. I think I’ll stay home today instead of going a few places like I planned.

@snowy22315 It wasn’t disheartening like I thought it would be, probably because it wasn’t humid. I’m done with it though, don’t get me wrong. I’d always rather have a Christmas chill in the air. Sunday we get cold for three days, but then it gets back to the 70s.

78, yuk. I hate it when it doesn't feel like Christmas. Ree Drummond had the right idea..with a Christmas or pre Christmas holiday in Vail..a place pretty much guaranteed to have snow.

Apparently our recycle truck didn't get the memo, and picked up the recycling. The regular trash truck is running late, but then again, George and I expected it because it is the 26th and there's a lot to be picked up. If Trump decided to make this a thing, he didn't do it in time because a package we're expecting from Amazon is on a Usps mail truck.
