Thankfully, he has moved to the arm of the chair now, but I think only those that have a kitty know the honor of being chosen by a kitty as their soft place to sit. I had to keep postponing tasks earlier..as I was appointed by kitty to be his cushion Do you ever get trapped by your kitty?

We love them too much to try to move them form our body.

@LadyDuck It was an affront to his dignity. He trotted off in a huff.

Many years ago when I had cats, they would always make themselves home in my lap whenever I was working at the computer, or just watching tv. You wouldn't believe how many times I was "trapped" because I didn't want to move and wake up the cats.

I believe it. Once they are comfy, they want to stay that way

I get trapped by my dog. Sadie sits in the crook of my arm or right on my lap, and I just don’t have the heart to move her. Annabelle, my late dog, used to curl herself around the back of my neck and put her head on my shoulder and go to sleep. I just couldn’t move her. It was too cute.

Nico knows just where to curl up. It is really sweet. That is one reason I like the colder months. I can be sure to get some kitty cuddles.

No such experience as we have no pets. Yet often people with pets get very involved and occupied by them. So their everyday tasks get affected. But well, one has to manage somehow.

@snowy22315 I think, with Pets even Travel Plans become restrained a lot. Even local travel.

Good one. Fred cat has to have a morning nap- sprawled on my left side, his head in my elbow. I type with my right hand only.

Nico likes my left arm shoulder area for his morning snooze. I bet Fred is comfy too.

The 1 I saved from being turned lose in the wild as a kitten that's now 1/2 grown has this thing about grabbing my feet when I walk past her & she has a mouse fuzzy toy that she loves to play with she brings it to me to throw so she can go catch it, it's so funny.

@2ndchances24 Mine always reminds me of what I need to do, which is generally food or treats, but it could also be go to bed...but more likely, come out and keep me company.

All the time, but hubby even more. I can't still for more than 30 minutes. Hubby will stay trapped for two hours.
