The bus I didn't know about

I just recently was told how there is a bus that will take me over there and to where the other strip mall stores are across the highway. But in order to catch the bus I have to walk down the hill which is 2 blocks , then walk another 7 blocks to where the stop is next to the grocery store is. Long walk especially in the cold! The bus website says the first bus comes at 8:00 am and runs every two hours! And the last bus will drop me off at 5:00 pm. Then when I called the bus company office to ask them something else, I was told no that the bus comes at 7:30 AM. And that I need to show up at the stop at least 15 minutes early just in case the bus comes early. So if I had got there at 7:45 AM I would of missed the bus. I got on the bus at 7:30 AM and it took me to Walmart. Walmart didn't have everything that I needed so I had to walk about 6 more blocks to another store then 6 blocks back to the stop at Walmart because the bus doesn't go up there.
We were headed back and he didn't drive back towards my stop, we went all the way to the next town because it was time for him to get off work and change to a new driver. It took a long time!
I asked the new driver if they did that on every ride and he said no and not to try to memorize it because they are changing the routes and times on January 1st. But there is not a per-say schedule. Therefore I won't be able to go out on days I need to pick up my grandson from the school bus.
But the person that just now told me about the bus even existing just now told me about it instead of when the weather was warmer! And no one else told me about it.
Oh yeah, it only runs Monday thru Friday except holidays!

That doesn't sound like a very good schedule! Busses ran every few minutes in our old neighborhoods and in the city.

God!! You've to walk a long distance to ride this bus. And the schedule is very very complicated. I think you need to ride another bus to ride this bus.

That sure is a lot of walking to be able to ride the bus.

That is a good distance to walk, even if the weather is nice... I don't know what to tell you, then. I'm sorry.

Oh my goodness. How could you ever keep up with all of that? I hope something more permanent comes into being soon.

Sounds incredibly frustrating, confusing, and exhausting, especially in cold weather. Having to walk that far just to maybe catch a bus would be hard on anyone. The mixed information about the bus times alone would make the whole trip stressful. Cannot believe that. It’s also frustrating that the route doesn’t even cover all the places you need to go. Being taken to another town just for a driver change sounds like real poor planning. Not having a clear or reliable schedule makes it impossible to plan important responsibilities. The fact that routes and times are changing with no set schedule adds even more uncertainty. It’s especially upsetting that this affects your ability to pick up your grandson. We can completely understand that. You’re completely justified in feeling upset—this system really doesn’t make things easy at all.
