We are under a wind advisory. It is not too windy at the moment, but it was earlier. I suspect it will pick up, We will have gusts of 33 mph..so noticeably windy. Everybody is going to have to take their inflatables down, or stake them down. We can't have frosty blowing across the neighborhood, and getting stuck in a tree.
I saw some young guys running down the street a bit earlier. They could have possibly been Mormon missionaries as they had white shirts..but why would they have them out on a day like today? That doesn't seem safe.

Ours is gusting up to 55. 25 to 35 is the steady flow

Wow, that is something. You must be worried about your power. I am here. At least there is no snow or ice.

@wolfgirl569 That's good We haven't had any power outages here for awhile..but we have had some long ones with inclement weather.

@snowy22315 Not too much. Our electric company is a good one. They are proactive and replaced many poles just a couple of years ago. Plus they are fast getting out to do repairs if needed

Wind advisories definitely make things feel a bit unsettled, even when it’s calm for the moment. Gusts up to 33 mph can definitely cause problems once they kick in. You are absolutely spot on about the inflatables, those things can turn into flying objects very quickly. I do not think anyone wants to see Frosty the Snowman tangled up in a tree down the street. It is smart to take precautions before the wind really picks up. Seeing people running around in those conditions would make anyone concerned. If they were missionaries, it does seem risky to be out in strong winds like that. Often people underestimate how dangerous gusty weather can be. Hopefully everyone stays safe and the wind passes without causing any damage. Take care!

Last night the wind was crazy when I had to get out. The chill was just crazy. But we don’t get too many inflatables around here, which is probably wise in Oklahoma. I get a giggle thinking about a Mormon missionary chasing an inflatable down the street even though I know that’s not what you said.

We're getting those gusting winds later today and into tomorrow. I'm just hoping our trash gets picked up before the wind starts and all the pails go flying down the street.
