Do you love making your own gifts for friends? Well, I usually buy gifts for them, but right now I decided to create a few notepads for them; the finished product is shown in the photo.
I hope they will appreciate these tiny gifts from me. Do you give them handmade gifts or do you buy gifts?

Handmade gifts are neat. I rarely make them though. I just am not crafty.

They would be silly not to appreciate the gifts you made for them.
When I was a teenager I would make greeting cards for friends, and I always got a good response. But, I kind of got out of the habit as I got older and got busier. I wish I still did it.
You did a great job!

Thank you.
When we were also in elementary and highschool all my girl classmates and I would also love giving Christmas cards and valetntine's cards... and all are handmade.
But when we were at the last years only a few of us do that. Maybe when because we are too busy with school or other things.

@luisadannointed Yes, I do love to shop. Though most of it is online. This year, I actually shopped for gifts instead of ordering them. It felt almost nostalgic to do so.

Many many thanks for sharing the photo of the gifts made by you. They are really wonderful. You are a artist.

@luisadannointed I was lucky to be taught how to crochet when I was young and I've done a lot over the years.

Making your own gifts adds such a personal and thoughtful touch, especially when it’s something practical such as notepads. Even small handmade items often carry more meaning than store-bought ones. It’s lovely that you put time and creativity into creating something just for them. Those kinds of gifts usually feel more heartfelt to the receiver. I’m sure your friends will appreciate the care behind them, not just the finished product. Handmade gifts often reflect the giver’s personality in a special way. Notepads are also useful, which makes them even better as gifts. I tend to think that effort is what truly counts than the actual product. Sometimes buying gifts is convenient, but creating something feels more intentional. It can also be very satisfying to see your work completed. Tiny gifts can still leave a lasting impression. Your friends are lucky to receive something made just for them. For me , well I recollect making handmade cards long ago , but other than that I have the one to reach out to stores for gifts. Enjoy the day!
