Welcome 2026

Happy New Year my fellow myLotters! It's Thursday and I know it's hard to believe but the sun is shining here today and what a welcome sight for ringing in the New Year.
We had a coating of snow overnight and although it looks pretty I wouldn't be disappointed if the sun melted it. Probably too cold for any of it to melt but I can hope 
I managed to stay up and see the ball drop in Times Square (NYC) and my first New Year text was from Valerie @just4him. It certainly made me smile and a nice way to ring in 2026. My family followed with their texts and I kind of surprised that some of them were still awake
My daughter got home from her overnight a short while ago and we're trying to decide what to have for dinner, etc.
I know she's tired so a nap is a definite and I'm sure whatever we decide on for dinner won't require much effort.
I just want to pop on here and say hi and wish everyone a very Happy, Healthy and prosperous New Year.

Happy New Year!
I admit, I was asleep at midnight. I briefly woke up when the fireworks started, but Sadie and I kind of looked at each other and went back to sleep.

I'm still flabbergasted at what year it is and that I am here to see it, I did not stay up to see the ball drop but will look it up on YouTube today, I hope you'll have a very good 2026 year!
