Three firefighters and a Pennsylvania State Trooper were given a Emergency Health Services Clinical Save Award on Tuesday, December 30 at the fire station headquarters.
The three firefighters who are Assistant Chief Travis Duncan, firefighter/EMT Jesse Berdanier and firefighter/EM Benjamin Condran as well as Pennsylvania State Trooper Brody Myers answered an emergency call on Friday December 5 when a female driver was involved in an accident on Interstate 81 near Fort Indiantown Gap.
The woman driver was knocked unconscious in the median when Officer Myers used CPR on the accident victim until the firefighters came to assist Officer Myers by to use an AED and CPR to revive the accident victim.
The accident victim was taken by ambulance to Penn State Milton S, Hershey Hospital where she made a complete recovery and released by Christmas.
The firefighters and the state trooper are real life heroes.

I know they're commision to do the saving job anytime, anywhere. Whether there's an award, they're duty-bound to do their job. Anyway cingratulations to them.

Accidents are still a big problem in many countries, and a safe car is yet to be built, it seems, but it is good that these service workers are around to pick up the pieces, and ensure that life goes on, in the best way possible, even after an accident, for the accident victims.
