I don’t really make New Year resolutions as I tend to think if you need to change something then change it …don’t wait til new year….
However, this year I DO plan to …..
Be more positive …I may have to bite my lip a few times to stop me saying what I feel, if it’s not going to help ….but I will deal with that as and when I need to !
Lose weight ….yes, I probably did say that last year, but this year I have been out of action for several months through no fault of my own ….this year I can be more active and also cook healthier meals.
Be thankful and take time to enjoy the little things….
Do you make New Years Resolutions ….can you share them ?

I always want to lose weight. Other than that, I don't make any resolutions.

I sometimes make them but a few weeks later I can't remember what they were.

I like your perspective. Meaningful change does not need a calendar date or special time. We just need the right mindset and actions. Being positive is a powerful goal. Weight loss is a realistic goal. Perhaps you need to break it down to actionable tasks and that will help you reach the big goal. You have become active agon and having healthier meals is a big step towards that. Being grateful for small joys is often an underrated habit, yet a powerful one. Taking time to be thankful and enjoy the little things is one of the most underrated habits, yet it changes everything. Many a time, small joys often bring the great contentment we always crave for. Personally, I did not keep any New Year resolutions but I do have goals for the year around. Focussing my energy towards those personal goals. Wish you good luck!
