Who Was the Wannabe?

So, now of course, Trump's a warmonger Nobel Peace Prize wannabe because he's taken some actions in Venezuela. Just one more notch in the old left's "Trump's a maniac" belt. Let us not forget, former president Barack Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize just eight months into his presidency. Hmm. The Nobel awarders stated that the award was given for Obama's "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples." State me one thing Obama did in his first eight months that even comes close to that explanation. You can't, because it doesn't exist. There isn't one. The awarders went on to say, ""We have not given the prize for what may happen in the future. We are awarding Obama for what he has done in the past year. And we are hoping this may contribute a little bit for what he is trying to do." But that is entirely impossible to be true. The nomination deadline closed January 31, 2009, just 11 days into Barack Obama's first term. There was no way they could know what his first year would look like at the time the nomination deadline closed. It's a load of crap is what it is, plain and simple. Now, let's look at Barack Obama's "peaceful" presidency. He launched airstrikes or led military raids in at least seven different countries. In fact, during his entire two terms, the military was at war, conducting raids, or doing airstrikes. After the killing of Kadafi in Libya, he left the country in ruins, riddled with conflict, that became a magnet for terrorists. Terrorist groups in several nations became many times more powerful, even surpassing the power of the former Al-Qaeda, leaving wakes of bodies across the globe. One can mock President Trump all they want. But he has not been awarded the prize. But Barack Obama was. And by all accounts of his presidency, it was not deserved at all. Where's the left's thoughts and opinions on that? Well, as nonexistent as the explanation was for why Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize at all. He was just the first black president, and I guess that was all he needed to be, even though he led one of the most warring times in American history. It makes me wonder where Barack Obama put his Peace Prize for display? Probably next to the pile of body bags.
