Somber mood engulfed Amboseli National Park, one of our major wildlife tourism attractions in Kenya following the demise of one of the most endeared wild animals, an elephant fondly christened Craig. Reliable sourced confirmed that the animal died after short illness and it must have died of a natural cause since lifespan of a bush elephant is between 50 and 60 years. During his lifetime, Craig wowed tourists for over four decades with antics. It teased or even threatened tourists but hard caused any harm. Tourists and their guides would scream in fright when it seamed so certain that the animal was charging at them, only for it to trumpet and head another direction, an action many saw as kind of game or sport it was playing. It will surely be missed by guides, drivers and tourists who frequented the Amboseli National Park, as it was always close tp one of the entrances.

I agree with Amber. At least he was living somewhere else and he had a good end of life experience in the park
