View difficult situations as tests

I had a difficult situation today. I work as a teacher in a school where there isn't enough parking for the teachers. The school is in a rural area and there are no busses that go to that area at the time that I need to be at work. So I always make sure that I am there early enough to be able to have a space to park my car. (banged up old car, but still runs) When I finished my classes, so I went to the parking lot to go home. I have other lessons that I need to get to after school. What did I find? Another car completely blocking my car! Instead of getting angry, I wrote on the teacher Whatsapp group that I need to ask the person's car to move it, took a picture and then waited. I didn't get angry, I saw it as a test of my patience. When you have a situation that you could get angry about, stop and see it as a way to train yourself to be patient.

I hope you did not have to wait too long before the person came to move the car. Patience is not my virtue.

I hope you didn't have to wait too long. That would be really annoying to me.
