Back To The Routine....

Hey everyone, how are you all doing?
Winter break ended and my son is back to school. Not only was it back to school, but it is a whole new semester. Three of his classes will be pretty much the same just part 2 and at a different time (except English being first again). He's sad he'll no longer be in computers and taking PE instead. For half the semester he'll be in home ec and then switch to art (last semester it was music and then crafts).
Surprised he didn't get switched out of honors english since he only finished with a D. I hope he can at least end this semester with a C in that class.
Guess we'll see how it all goes. May seems very far away.

I hope his second half of the year is a good one. I can remember changing halfway through the year to other classes.

I hope so too, it's a bit longer than the 1st lol. When I was in school we had 3 trimesters, I feel just switching once would have been better

Even better would be greatly accepted too. She said she'd help, or there is tutoring with high schoolers, but Eli wouldn't do either.

Before you know it, May will be here. You'll be announcing that Elli made it through another year of school and wondering where the year went. Time can be quick when you're least expecting it.

Before I know it we'll be celebrating his high school graduation! So don't want it to go by too fast...but also can't wait for summer break and days I can sleep in again. Though if I ever am able to have another kid, I will not know sleep again for a long while.

I'm glad he has the same teachers and will do well in his classes. I hope he does better in English.

@just4him Well that is good, I have an awful memory
If he didn't like a teacher then that'd be bad to have the same ones...but all of them seemed nice. I don't know how much better he'll do, he gets points off on assignments because he doesn't do all the questions - especially when he has to do creative writing.

Glad you like it.... I am sure he will, except that English class. Least he'll have mostly all the same teachers.
Glad you got it, and no worries...good to know it arrived. I don't know if I said thank you for yours, things have been hectic so I don't remember anything.

Well he is starting fresh at least, and hope this semester he'll get a C or above. He ended the 1st semester with a 3.0 GPA - not sure how good that is lol

I am sure he will mostly, just worry about English - and maybe PE because he doesn't want to do that class. He'd rather take computers again.
