Has anyone joined any dance classes ?

I am thinking of joining a dance class this year. Apparently, there is a line dancing class in the church hall down the road from where we live. Line dancing was very popular here a few years ago but I didn’t realise that it still was.
From what I understand the classes are once a week ….i could manage that I think .
So what do you think ?

I used to go dancing when I was in my thirties and enjoyed learning new dances... There weren't any classes that I knew about. I'd just ask my partner/friend if she knew how to do something and we'd go to a corner of the bar and she'd teach me. Sometimes it turned into a class if others wanted to learn the same dance moves.
You mean after school? I took a series of classes at a local community college back in my twenties for drafting and another series of classes for computer repair/programming. I never did anything with the drafting classes after I received my certificate but I will help people with their computer/phone/tablet on myLot if they ask for help. (Once in a while, I won't know the answers to something, though, if the programming has advanced beyond my skill levels.)

I found out that you like dancing …..
The only classes I did after school have been sign language …which was for my job. I supported hearing impaired children for 17 years at my previous school …..place of work….
We have to do first aid every three years to keep our certificates up to date.

Oh, yes, I did do First Aid classes for one job and also Forklift Driver training for another job. I used the forklift training at several different places after that. I never used the First Aid training, though. (I had to renew the forklift training at each different place every year.)
I know a few basic signs but not enough to talk with someone. One friend had a deaf brother but she always translated for us.

I used to go line-dancing. I'm thinking about going again as they have classes in the clubhouse.
