Lyft is At it Again

Today my daughter had an appointment with her physical therapist. It was for 1:30p. today. When I set up her transportation, I have been requesting Blue Bird Transportations because they always give the kids good service. This time we got Lyft instead. We had gotten a text yesterday saying the driver would be here at 'about' 12:24p. (Whatever 'about' means.) I told my daughter she should probably go out a little earlier and wait for them. That was at 12:19p. Just as she went out, I got a text that the driver had canceled. He hadn't even texted that he had arrived. I had to call her an Uber to get her there on time. An Uber can be here in 2 minutes. We have had continuous problems with Lyft. Once they couldn't find the place to pick her up, yet the original Lyft driver had gotten her there. Another time it was hot out and my daughter went inside the building to get a drink and the driver didn't wait 5 minutes. He just saw no one waiting outside and left. Hopefully we will get Blue Bird next time. They are very nice and we like using them. It's actually set up by a place called Non Emergency Transports and is free for Medicaid recipients. It's great to have the free transportation --when they actually get transported. So now I just have to get her back home.
