Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 52 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is nice to not be totally freezing. I actually had the windows cracked on my way back here. Today was my first day back at work since the break. The students flipped out that I gave a basic quiz on a documentary that I had posted for them to watch Monday while I was gone. On Tuesday I posted to make sure that they finished watching it. Yesterday I posted in capital letters BE SURE TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE WATCHED THE SECRET OF PHOTO 51. **hint hint** So 3 times they were told to watch the video. They freaked out about the "pop quiz". Um how much more oblivious do you have to be? The NP offered to write the note for me to be off today too but I declined. That was a bad decision. I was absolutely exhausted by 7th period. I saw a student in the hall on my way out of the building and from like 20 feet away he said "Yo NJChicaa you look tired". I said "I am". He said "I can tell". Now this is a kid I know solely from the halls. He was never my student. So that's saying something. I'm back at the apartment now with the cat crew. I have 2 hours of tutoring this afternoon but it doesn't start until 4. That's a good thing because I have no idea what I'm going to do with her. And after I figure that out then I need to come up with something for 2 hours for tomorrow. After that I need to come up with something for dinner. Then I will likely crash in bed early. I'm happy that tomorrow is Friday. I need to rest and recharge this weekend. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?
