This time it seems that the volcano near my province is starting to erupt again. And this time it looks like they are preparing for a major one since lava flows has been detected and started flowing out. They say the laba dome has collapsed causing lava flows started flowing down. This type of volcano seems to be the silent types of volcano as compared to other violent ones. The eruption could even invite tourist to watch this event. Being a volcano with the most perfect cone shape peak. I just hope that residents near the foot of the volcano are able to evacuate to safety before the lava would reach them.

@Nakitakona on mayon’s case there is fire and lava flowing slowly down its slope. The main thing disturbing would be the ashes blown since it is toxic especially to those with weak lungs.

I hope it doesn't turn violent so people have time to get out of the way if the lava flows towards them.

@DaddyEvil I think evacuations have been done at the time eruptions have been detected on the permanent danger zone areas usually those towns that are on the foot of the volcano.

@rsa101 True... I hope people have been removed from the area until the volcano calms down.

When I hear news about earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, and tsunamis it sends a shiver down my body. As a matter of fact they are predicting that natural disasters are very likely to increase in the coming days. We have had an earthquake in Japan and some other major natural disaster in some other part of the world, which I am not able to remember.
Even in India, and the part spreading right up to the Himalayas, are seriously in danger of major earthquakes because the tectonic plates under these surfaces are very likely to move and that too in a very reckless manner. What I just want to underline is the fact that it's going to be something really major.
It's the Nature's way of handling the excessive pressure that we are putting on her.

@rsa101 That's something worrying, to be honest. I can imagine what the dangers of volcanoes are. I hope at least you are away from anything serious.

Although this volcano is not known to be explosive one where lava flows just flow quietly along its slopes. In fact it is during its eruption that tourists would flock to witness it. But the ashes thrown out is what makes it dangerous especially for those with lung problems. And those living just below it are in real danger.

@abhi_bangal I think people there are aware of the dangers it can do but unlike covid you can easily evade this by avoiding getting near the volcano. This is one of the gentler vilcanoes that we have it just silently erupts on the background no loud explosions thats why many tourists flock to the place to winess it especially at night where you could see the lava flowing down the slope.

@rsa101 This is really worrying. It reminds me of the covid-19 which was related to breathing. I mean even breathing was one of the major gateways for the virus to enter the human body. And the same seems to be the case here as well. It's true that sulfur can cause fetal damage if it enters the body on a bigger scale.
