Thinking about the soup reminded me of Friday's lunch fiasco. A para microwaved something for her lunch while we were talking. Then I put my container of soup in and. . . nothing. I cleared it, unplugged and plugged it it, checked the circuit breaker box, etc. Nothing. In just seconds it decided to give up the ghost. I could only laugh. The para insisted that the life skills room had a microwave so she took it down there. I was ready to just throw it out and skip lunch. I went to the office while she was gone and when I came back there was a nice hot container of soup waiting for me. It was hilarious that the thing worked fine one minute and then was dead the next. We'll see who supplies another microwave for the faculty room because it certainly won't be me. I'll have to be sure to bring something cold for lunch tomorrow.
