The CEO of Exxon said that he doesn't want his company to go back to Venezsula because they have been left holding the bag twice already. They invested, and then the industry was nationalized twice. The company lost lots of money. So I am not surprised that the CEO doesn't want to go back there again. What do you think?

It's not something I have researched. But I support Exxon's right to do what they think is best for them.

@lifecoachjerusalem I think most well-run companies know what happens when you do business that could involve Donald Trump.

I'm not surprised that they don't want to take another risk. I'd be hesitant too.

I would not even invest $1 in that country.

The CEO of Exxon is right, look at people who invested in Argentina, how many time that country defaulted? For what I can remember Argentina defaulted on its sovereign debt 9 times since it gained independence. Venezuela defaulted in 2017 and the country has not recovered. No matter who invests there risks to lose money.

I think it's sad for those people over there. But I think the Exxon CEO is doing the right thing.
