Calling to Compliment

I got a coupon to get my dog groomed, and I took it since I’m always worried I’ll cut her nails to the quick. She needed a bath too, and I don’t have hot water so that worked out well. The lady who groomed her buffed her nails without me paying for it, and she did such a good job I called the grooming place to compliment the worker to the manager (I did not relay she did free work so I wouldn’t get her in trouble). Unfortunately, the manager is on leave, but I told the person I talked to please relay my appreciation for her good work. Do you think we should make a special effort to report good workers as some people do bad workers? I think the last time I complained was on a survey the post office had me fill out, and I didn’t name a person. I just relayed the bad experience. I only wish I could have talked to a real person in that case!

I do try to praise great service when it's warranted, for sure. So many never receive any praise for going the extra mile, I am glad you made an effort to recognize her efforts. Also glad Sadie had her spa day!

She wanted to show off her nails. She’s proud of her manicure. Lol

Yes, we should and, sometimes, I do compliment a good experience to the store manager or to corporate naming the person I had the good experience with. It's only fair to let companies know when they've (one of their employees) has done an exceptional job as well as telling them when I've had a really bad experience. How will they know when they're getting things right or really wrong if we don't make a point of complimenting as well as complaining?
