Have You Heard of This Before?

The term used is 'nonenal' and happens as a person ages. It is where body materials accumulate and cause a musty or greasy odor over time. These are the areas where this occurs on the body: * Feet and toes - there are around 125,000 250,000 sweat glands in the foot and sole area. Between toes and the soles of the foot are not always cleaned sufficiently. * Wet towels. Towels left hung up after a shower may not dry out sufficiently and an odor may grow transferring to the body. * Behind the ears and along the neck. Along the back of the neck where the skull meets the neck. * The middle of the back. Flexibility decreases with age and there is a dense cluster of glands right in the middle of the back that are not always thoroughly cleaned. * The groin area. Rinsing isn't enough. Folds in this area increase over age and dead cells and sweat can accumulate over time. These are all areas we may not think about but can be where a buildup of sweat, dead body cells, urination leakage accumulate and when not thoroughly cleaned with each shower/bath an odor may develop. Not a strong odor and one that is even hard to detect at times. Others may smell something and it is something that can be eliminated by just getting in the habit of reaching these areas with soap and water. Slow habits formed over time are more apt to stick.

I haven't heard of that, but it makes sense where it accumulates. I don't have that problem.
