Long Island second-grade classroom teacher Alessia Hoffman credited her first aid training at Charles Reinhard Early Childhood Center in Bellmore New York to use the Heimlich maneuver of a seven year old student named Anderson Forman who was choking when he ate a Annie's Sour Bunnies fruit snack that he ate that made him choke on Tuesday January 6. Alessia used the Heimlich maneuver to remove the food that was causing his breathing problems. Alessia was impressed that Anderson was grateful that his teacher saved his life from choking on a fruit snack. Nice kid who is grateful that a teacher used her fitst aid skills to save his life/ Link is msn.com/en-us/health/m...

It is nice of Anderson to thank his teacher for saving his life since it is rare for a student or person to be grateful for having their lives saved by someone else.

@Deepizzaguy You are so right. People forget how to be grateful. But here is this young man doing something that most adults don't do.

If I choked she could give me the kiss of life. After she Heimliched me. I wouldn't have learned much if I had had a teacher as hot as her

It is so good that professionals know this maneuver. So many stories out there of this being needed.

That is why they have teachers renew their CPR/First Aid every two years.
