Hoatzins appear to have “bad hair day” looks They live in the swamps and river areas of South America. These birds are calm and slow moving making loud huffing noises usually found in groups or pairs. These weird blue-faced, red-eyed birds smells so bad predators won't eat them. They primarily feed on leaves

@Ineeddentures the one thing I did not look up but I did just now and it says the birds smell bad becuae The smell is a byproduct of the breakdown of fibrous plant material in its diet .

That’s kind of funny that they smell that bad. Hey, maybe that’s the key to being left alone at my apartment complex…never bathe so I smell bad!
