My uncle was a mechanic and he liked Chevys. He always had a short bed Chevy truck. I was watching a Ford commercial the other evening, and I started to wonder what the stats were on Fords and Chevrolets. Here is what I found: PRICE= Chevy offers more affordable models like Trax ($20,400), and Trailblazer ($20,100). Ford's Maverick comes in at $23, 920. INTERIOR: It's a tie. Chevy has straight forward technology, simplistic cabin and sleek designs. PERFORMANCE: Chevy Corvette is the undisputed leader. RELIABILITY: Chevy pulls forward with such models as the Silverado 2500 HD, and Traverse and the Corvette earn top marks. Three other standouts are the Bronco, Sport and Ranger. Both companies have a five year/ 60,000 mile powertrain warranty, and a three year/ 36,000 mile basic warranty. SAFETY: Ford wins with their Mustang Mach-E, and Explorer earning top safety marks. Chevy's Blazer and Trailblazer earn strong safety ratings which keeps the competition close.

@celticeagle Funny thing is, I don't like either of those. I had a Chevy. Never again.

I've never seen or purchased Chevy or Ford. My car is Maruti Celerio. I thank you for sharing facts about both the cars.

@celticeagle Of course, it is working fine. But now I have decided to sell it and buy a new one.

My first vehicle was a used Chevy Silverado (my dad fixed up the old interior for me). All the men at church were so jealous! I late had a used Ford pickup, and it was super nice, but I think I preferred the Chevrolet. That could also be colored by sentimentality, though.

I think that was the case with my uncle too. But he was also a mechanic.
