So, it’s just after Christmas and people are not eating out. So, most of the restaurants/pubs etc have got deals on.
Tonight we went to Bella Italia. We have never been before . Their deal is mains for £5.
Some you can upgrade for an extra £2.49.
This makes some meals £7.49
We looked at the prices …£14.99 was the cheapest so the £5 is very good.
I had bolognese and The Mister had carbonara. We had garlic bread to share …..so we are both stinky !
Anyway, all the food was delicious……so much so, that The Mister asked when the offer was on again !
Do you take advantage of restaurant deals such as this ?

Nothing like that in our one horse town.
One place does a bacon roll and a coffee for £5.
That's about it

@Ineeddentures I used to find some useful vouchers on the MoneySavingExpert site

@Fleura it’s a good site but they do leave offers on sometimes when they have expired.

I don’t usually because I just don’t have the money to spend on eating out, but my dad does. He makes it a point to take out people who are down, or struggling financially, and treats different people to dinner about three times a month. Well, he can’t really afford to do that at nice places unless he finds some good deals. So he’ll find places with low priced deals, and take people there. No one is ever rude enough to order the most expensive thing (so far).

No, we don't... Pretty always says we can go out to eat but then changes her mind at the last minute.

It’s a good time to go to restaurants isn’t it …..especially if you take the family , otherwise it could get expensive

I"m glad the food was good. I get emails for free appetizers and 20% off from time to time. When the new lady starts, I will have her take me to a restaurant and treat her to a dinner on me.

That would be a lovely thing to do. Even better if you can get money off or something for free too

@Traceyjayne That's one of the perks of working for me. They get free stuff and free dinners.

It's not a thing we do.
We did all that stuff when we were younger but it lost its appeal along time ago.
So when the prices revert back to full amount will you go back?

We may go back for a special meal. However I can recommend it to others now that I’ve been.

@Ineeddentures true, although as The Mister is only at home weekends he says he doesn’t want us to spend half of it shopping and cooking and washing up.

We'd be battling to find a deal as good as this or anything near it.
