What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given, something that really stuck with you or changed how you think or live? It could be from anybody. Big or small, sometimes one simple line can make a huge difference. Mine: “Take life one day at a time.” It reminded me not to rush everything or worry too much about the future, and to just handle today as it comes.

Seize the day, that is the best advice, we never know when our day will be also our last.

"Keep moving forward" I remember the motivational speech actor Sylvester Stallone gave to his son Vito Mentiviglia on paying the price for being successful in life.

My mom once told me never to marry a man thinking you’ll change him. Because you probably won’t, and if you do it will take a lot of prayer.

@Tendz09 Yes, everybody has a different platform to view from, and we should never put down someone for thinking differently than ourselves.

i have a few but one stands out to get over issues that look intractable to solve. "This too shall pass" - denoting nothing is permanent - the good times and the bad.

My dad told me to look at a girlfriend's mother closely and if I could imagine being 25 years older and with a woman like that , then my girlfriend could be the right woman
