Vince’s brother, his daughter, Vin and I visited another brother and his wife today. It was a two-hour drive and we were invited for lunch. Our SIL is a great cook and we had kebabs with salads and garlic bread before finishing up with trifle, ice-cream and cream. We are not going to need much for dinner.
But what I really wanted to tell you is that at 5.52pm, it’s still 41C (105F) outside. We were very comfortable in the car and it’s nice now back in the house. Tomorrow is supposed to be just as hot. The heat is certainly very trying for many people. Luckily we’re home tomorrow but then have a funeral to attend on Friday.
A lady that I went to school with has succumbed to cancer. She was great fun and the life of every party although not one of my close friends. She will be sadly missed by her loved ones.
The photo is of Nature’s Window at Kalbarri.

@JudyEv You're welcome. Yes, I am watching this big storm that's supposed to hit eastern US. We will get over 6 inches of s**w, southern Ohio will get over 12 inches of s**w; and some parts will get ice.

Glad that you were able to keep cool. Is that normal to get that hot there? I have experienced 101-103 f a few times. Way too hot.

I wouldn't want to go outside when it's that hot out! Just waiting for the car to cool down is a pain in the tush!
My part of the US doesn't normally get that hot during the summer but it can, on very rare occasions... But my area does get excessively cold... This weekend we'll have a couple of days where our high is supposed to be 4F/-16C. I will NOT be going outside on those days! (We may also get heavy snow over the weekend so I wouldn't be going outside anyway.)
I hope you get some nice temps soon.

@JudyEv You're very welcome.
Yeah, not very welcoming at the moment and won't be for several days, at least. I'm not looking forward to the snow this weekend, either.

Technically we have four seasons each of three months but they overlap quite a lot. I'm glad you like the photo.

That is hot yes. I don't recall if it ever gets that hot in Jamaica during summertime. There is a hit song by one if our internationally known bands - "Third World". It is called "96 Degrees in the Shade"., a song about how hot it was . It came out in 1977, and l am sure temps are much higher now thanks to climate change.
