Yet another Trump TACO

That acronym became popular last year after Trump launched his incredibly stupid trade wars with nations all over the world. He would threaten some insane tariff amount and then back down before it was supposed to go into effect. It stands for "Trump Always Chickens Out". He has been ranting and raving about the need for the US to own Greenland for national and global security. He said he wasn't ruling out using the military to take it over. He has been ignoring the people in Denmark who keep saying that it isn't for sale and if he attacks the island he would be at war with NATO. He threatened NATO allies with tariffs if they didn't support the US annexing Greenland. Well Europe basically told him (just like that Danish MEP member yesterday) to "F off". So he has just posted on his failing social media site that he has a "framework for a deal" for Greenland. His statement says: ""Based upon a very productive meeting that I have had with the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, we have formed the framework of a future deal with respect to Greenland and, in fact, the entire Arctic Region. This solution, if consummated, will be a great one for the United States of America, and all NATO Nations. Based upon this understanding, I will not be imposing the Tariffs that were scheduled to go into effect on February 1st. Additional discussions are being held concerning The Golden Dome as it pertains to Greenland. Further information will be made available as discussions progress. Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and various others, as needed, will be responsible for the negotiations — They will report directly to me. Thank you for your attention to this matter!" In other words Trump tried to bully everyone into letting him take over Greenland and Europe was all "hell no". So now he has to give himself an off-ramp to save face while still looking (in his opinion) like the super powerful guy his MAGA cult thinks he is. Nope. He chickened out and had to back down. TACO
