Good Evening, Wednesday, 1/21 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from cold and snowy Green Bay, Wisconsin. The temperature right now is 19 F. It was supposed to get to 22 F. We also had snow today. 
It's been a good day with a lot to be thankful for. No matter how hard I try, my internal clock is set to 3 AM. I'm in writing mode. I get only enough sleep to recharge.
I'm thankful for the 5.25 hours of sleep I got last night. I've been on full brain energy for all the work I did today.
I'm thankful for the work I did on In the Hands of Mighty Men. I have a lot of revision in the last chapters of the book. I have less than 100 pages now, so I will be finished with this one by Friday.
Plans to go shopping today disintegrated, but in a good way. My neighbor couldn't go anywhere with her broken rib and her ankle swelling unexpectedly. I did the next best thing. I called my son's girlfriend to find out if she could pick up an order for me from Hy-Vee. I asked her what time, and placed the order and gave her the order number. She and my son came with the grocery order, so I could see them both, visit for a while, and make plans for Christmas dinner. I'll need to work that one out as they want it on Sunday and I go to church in the morning. This should be fun.
It's been a good day, I got the notifications done on WordPress this morning. I'm going to get them done here now. Then I'm going to watch TV for the rest of the evening. After I get back from prayer at 6 tonight. Putting Wednesday in the subject line reminded me about what day this is. I hadn't thought about it except briefly when the garbage truck showed up.

I am thankful that I found my mislaid glasses today.
Not so thankful I did so by standing on them and breaking them.
The positive is this, I knew that I had not lost them outside despite three or four people telling me that is what likely happened.
They thought I couldn't recall where ai had been when I was out of the house for an hour.

George and I had a bit of a long day, but a good one all the same. I successfully attached one of the new pull chains we bought yesterday and we made a quick run to family dollar. George has to walk when we go there, but I think it'd do him some good. He's listening to the metelicia cd we got in the mail today that I wasn't expecting.

@just4him He surprised me by wanting to go out with the sun about to set, but I am thankful all the same. In hignsight I can understand why he did it.

We have had weather in the high 30s and low 40s but today it's 29F. This slate grey sky sure gets old. We haven't had a blue sky for several days.
