Cold Weather is Here

Good evening to you all. They were not kidding about the cold and wind here today. Home and relaxing after a long day and warming up. Right now, it is 1F (-17C) but with the wind it feels more like -30F (-34C) so I would say the cold weather is here. They are calling for low temperatures for the next 4-5 days. Hopefully people will be taking care of themselves in this weather. I will be working tomorrow which means a lot of in and out of the cold, but I have been alright today and I’m sure I will be fine tomorrow even though they are saying it will be colder. Hope you all had a good day and are safe if you’re in this kind of weather. I know they are saying a lot of the U.S. is getting some winter weather to deal with.

I'm glad you had a good day even if it is cold tonight. Hopefully, you'll have another good day tomorrow. And yes, it's getting cold here, too. We're at 30F at 11 pm heading for a low of 19F tonight. Snow starts tomorrow afternoon and runs through Sunday. I'm not looking forward to that. My daughter and I are inside and warm... Stay safe.

We had snow yesterday morning, so we have enough of that for a while. I think it might be to cold to get anymore for as few days now.

@Bensen32 The forecast now shows chance of snow today and tonight at 100%, Saturday at 90%, Saturday night at 100% and Sunday at 60% falling to 30% by Sunday night. And our temps keep falling from a high today of 22F down to Sunday at -7F and then back to 20F on Monday as a high. I will be staying in the house until sometime next week at this rate.

Oh dear I got cold just reading your post. I wouldn't be working in weather that cold at my age now. I honestly think it would kill me

Yeah, being outside all day just might, thankfully I am in and out of the cold, so I get to warm up before going back out to freeze :)

I heard thirty-five states are affected by this storm. That feels rare. They say it should start here at 4am, but not get really bad until noon. Then, the snow and sleet won’t let up until Sunday night. I’m as ready as I can be though. Hopefully, you can keep yourself as warm as possible. I wouldn’t want to have to get out in this.

"a lot of in and out of the cold" bundle up & have some extra bottles of Dayquil cause you're going to need it, keep your head & hands covered.
