The Mister has just gone round to pick my Mom up as I asked her to come round for a cup of tea and some cake. We always have tea with her on a Friday anyway, sometimes we have a take away and sometimes we go out. Tonight we are going out for a £6 carvery which we all love. Mom commented a few days ago that she hadn’t seen my Birthday cards or holiday souvenirs . So I thought it would be nice to have her come round before we go out to eat.

Oh, good! I like hearing about your mom and always hope she's doing well. Please tell her I said "hello" and give her a hug for me. I wish we all lived closer together. We could all go out for dinner/tea some time.

Yes, it’s a shame we are so far away. She says hello back ….she remembered that you were my friend on here that had problems with his eyes…

Have to get her special cup and saucer out of the cabinet ….she doesn’t like mugs.

That's great that you have regular meals with your Mum.

Well, that sounds nice. I also appreciate the fact that you refer to your husband as The Mister. It’s creative, different, and cool. When I see someone call their husband “hubby” or even worse, “hubs” I actually cringe and feel like throwing up. Hope you guys have a great time. :)

Thank you . I called him that once, and it just kind of stuck.
