I have had a couple of chair naps

It is so quiet and peaceful, and I have a heated throw on my lap. I just doze off, then wake up a little later. I am drinking plenty of water and herbal tea to stay hydrated.
Every little bit I get up and do something. I did eat lunch.
We pretty much have anything we could possibly need. Our power is on. We have internet, food, and cats to keep us warm.
I wonder how everyone else is doing in the weather.

Just having a snow day. We only ended up with six inches, but got Monday the 26th off because of needing to clear parking and sidewalks.

I think it got just about up there on Wednesday here. To me that is a beautiful winter temperature. We had enough snow that it has not thoroughly melted.

I’m a little worried about snowy. She is worried about ice, and that is something we won’t get a lot of. The worst hasn’t gotten to her yet. Our worst isn’t here yet, but ours should be mostly snow, with sleet mixed in.
I found myself moving Sadie closer to me to warm up. It’s 11 F, but running the heater all the time makes my head hurt. So I’m running it as little as I can get away with.

Do you have a heated throw? That might be a good investment to keep from getting sore and stiff, and then you do not have to run the heater as much. Sadie would really like it.

@GardenGerty I have a weighted blanket, but I don’t know what they did with it. It will make me warm really fast, and Sadie loves that thing.

Bob really appreciates having a heated throw, and heated mattress pad. It was so relaxing just knowing I did not have to go out anywhere.
