Chicago crossing guard Joe Sass who is a crossing guard in Chicago was just doing his duty when he carried on his back a young child to the other side of the street at an intersection that was flooded due to a water main break on Thursday January 22.
The temperature in Chicago was below freezing when Joe took the child whose gender and age were not released.
The child went walking away safely and grateful that Joe did the child a favor to get the child across the flooded street safe and sound.

Joe did really well getting the child across the road.
It would have been really dangerous for the kid to have tried him or her self.
If the boy or the girl had fallen in the water it would not have been good
So well done Joe Sass

I am in agreement with you that Joe did the right thing by carrying the child to safety.

It would have been a disaster for the child walking in cold weather without any help from the guard.
