1/24/26 - Meals

We have over a foot of snow right now and the prediction is for another 3 inches before the snow stops. Temps here are supposed to reach the mid-teens today and tomorrow for highs and then we'll be in the low to mid-thirties until next weekend. I'm tired this morning. I haven't been sleeping very well the last few days. I've mostly been reading and watching YT videos. I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant and a fiber brownie for breakfast yesterday and a ham and cheese croissant for lunch. I didn't eat supper last night. (I'll cook the steaks today, maybe for lunch. We shall see.)

We are paused at 7 inches now, but will get more again later. It’s also 7 F. I hope you can stay warm. Yesterday, I had balsamic chicken with roasted Brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes, plus beef pad Thai.

I made chili yesterday. It was tasty. The weather is awful.

I also thought to all the wild animals who are experiencing this cold. I hope they will be safe.

We started getting the white powder yesterday afternoon around 2 & now it's 7am the next day "Sunday" it's STILL putting it down, it's 5 degrees & from the looks of it it's about a ft deep & I'm not going out of my cabin for ANYTHING even if it is just across the driveway. I hung out with hubby yesterday while I was waiting on the cabin to warm up after putting a extra heater in there & that helped, cause now it's 70 in the cabin. Where it was 60 yesterday I'm sure glad we have extra stuff like that, it comes in handy. As for what I had for lunch & dinner I had 3 pieces of cod but only ate 1, with some fries & 3-4 table spoons of baked beans A few hours later, I had a bowl of cereal corn Chex & a few hrs. after that I was still hungry, so I had 2 ham & swiss cheese sandwiches & a good size glass of milk & went to bed at 12am.

I love this countdown to Spring Linda 54 days. Sorry to hear it's snowing there. I feel sorry for the animals as.well when it's snowing badly. You should have seen the burger I had for Dinner last night. It was huge. Yum

Boca burgers and chicken soup and grilled cheese and yogurt and applesauce and a fiber bar and Gatorade and tea.

I hope you haven't lost power and can stay warm. We're just on the edge of freezing rain, but so far we're okay.

I’m back thanks to you! I feel bad for everyone and everything living through the snow and cold weather.

Yesterday i ate eggs with ugali. Yea its so sad for the animals i feel for them

I had several protein bars, a cheeseburger (no bun) and 3 onion rings at Buffalo Wild Wings.
