Final Tally

It’s over here! The final tally is ten inches of snow where I am. I’m grateful it isn’t the high of 14 inches they warned about. The news is showing some people who got out, and got stuck even with four wheel drive. This snow hasn’t been conducive to snowmen because it is so light and fluffy, but it’s still good for sledding, apparently.
The temperatures will still remain dangerous for some time, and school will likely be out until Wednesday, but things could be worse.

Please pray that the streets and parking lots are cleared enough for my mother-in-law to move Wednesday morning as planned

How did you manage to get the snow to stop there? It's still falling here and should continue until noon or after.

@AmbiePam The weather app on my phone is more accurate than The Weather Channel. My phone shows we'll still get snow/accumulation off and on even this afternoon.

Wow, that's a lot of snow. You haven't lost power, have you? Are all your family okay? We're right on the edge of freezing rain, but the temp is 34. Be safe, praying for all of you.

Glad the storm is over there. 10 inches is still quite a bit and hope they can clear the roads and get everything back to working quickly.
It's snowing like crazy here and our inches should hit somewhere between 14&18. Hopefully it doesn't change to freezing rain/sleet by later this afternoon. It's so cold right now and will be for days ahead so nothing will melt anytime soon.
Hope you and Sadie are staying warm and don't have to go out for anything.

Poor Missouri always seems to get it worse.
