Roast chicken dinner …..it is Sunday …

Lovely roast chicken today, roast potatoes, cabbage, roasted parsnip, cauliflower, gravy. Pudding was apple and blackberry crumble and cream. Using apples from our garden and blackberries that I picked last summer. Delicious……

I'm working my way down our fruit in the freezer too. Last night I used frozen raspberries and redcurrants in a trifle. I also just bought three cauliflowers because they were reduced to 10p each in the local Co-op. How could I refuse?

@traceyjayne Oh the happiness! I made a chicken, leek and potato bake kind of a thing. Tomorrow will be moussaka if I can find nice aubergines.

@Traceyjayne I’m always making something with aubergines. Can’t get enough of them. Tonight’s offering is roasted, glazed celeriac with pork and ricotta meatballs.

I made steaks, roast potatoes and green beans in garlic sauce for our late lunch today. We don't normally eat a dessert except at Thanksgiving, Christmas and our birthdays. I'm glad you all had a delicious meal.
