High school student puts out a HVAC fire before firefighters arrive

A Mechanicsville High School student in Hanover Virginia is being praised by firefighters with the Hanover Fire Emergency Medical Services for the actions of the student named Brenenn who used two fire extinguishers to put out an outdoor heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit (HVAC) that caught fire on Saturday morning January 24.
By the time that the firefighters arrived to the home on Saturday morning, the firefighters put out the fire that had spread to the crawl space.
The good news is that the damage of the house was small and no one was injured thanks to the actions of Brenenn who acted in a smart manner to put out a fire.

Two days ago a big fire gutted residential houses here in the capital city. A few later the fire was under control.
