Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. IT is 25 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. Ugh.
I was up early this morning but eventually went back to bed. A coworker called at noon to let me know that he was here to shovel out my car. I got up, bundled up, and went out there. He shoveled the snow all away from my car, I used the snow brush to remove what I could, and then my neighbor took the brush and broke it trying to remove ice from the rear windshield. At the end of it all the spot is cleared but my car still won't move due to the ice. I texted the new guy to tell him he would have to drive me in tomorrow. He lives like 2 minutes away so it isn't like it will be a big deal.
Anyway I'm up now. I'm going to make a cake to bring into work as a treat for the coworker who shoveled me out and everyone else. It is a project but that's fine. Its not like I have anything else going on.
What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

Cousin #2 will be coming and so will Meals on Wheels in spite of the bitter cold.

Oh dear what an afternoon I had.
My garage was broken into.
Strangely nothing was stolen.
Not even one of my motorbikes.
So I have been looking at ways of beefing up security
I am going to take the whole door off try something radical.
I am going to try and make it open upwards Instead of outwards and putting a ground lock in

You think they’ll still have school? I assumed they’d cancel tomorrow, here at least. The ten inches haven’t started to melt yet.
I was just taping up a few boxes I need to send out, but I doubt I get to the post office until Wednesday. I have a doctor’s appointment that day so hopefully it will be a lot easier to get out of this parking lot.

It's 16 degrees where I live in TN. It's exceptionally cold weather from what we usually have. There is a lot of snow and ice around, but today is sunny so I suspect we will be back in the green by the end of the week (hopefully).

Good afternoon. It is 12F here looking for a high of 19F this afternoon.
I went out earlier and started the car and let it run half and hour to keep the battery charged in the cold here. I don't plan on going anywhere but may have to anywhere since Pretty has a doctor appointment this Thursday. At least the appointment is here in town so it's fairly close and I won't need to drive on the highway.
I'm glad you won't need to drive tomorrow.
