Last week or the week before, I asked you guys what to do with sweetened condensed milk I had been given. Someone suggested cocoa, so I brought out the cocoa (shout out to that church who gave everyone boxes of cocoa back in December), put in some water, added some sweetened condensed milk, and had a delightful treat! When was your last yummy cup of cocoa? What do you put in it?

It's a long time I do not prepare a hot cocoa. When I make it I like to prepare the thick Italian hot cocoa version, so it's milk, dark cocoa, sugar and corn starch.

I didn’t have any milk because normally, I do prefer it with that.

@AmbiePam - I buy milk, we do not drink milk, but I use it to makes cakes and pastries and for mashed potatoes.

I’ve never used sweetened condensed milk in hot cocoa. That sounds really good! I made hot cocoa for my little one, my oldest and her boyfriend and friend who came over to play in the snow with my little one.

I didn’t have milk so I had to use water (I prefer mine with milk too). Which turned out to be great since I had the condensed milk to add a little something to it.

We have some K cups for the Keurig that are hot cocoa. Yummy on a cold day. Actually we had a cup yesterday. I never would have thought to use sweetened condensed milk for a hot cocoa but glad it was good. I've only used it in baking.

I usually just do the instant, but if making stovetop just milk cocoa powder and sugar I have a cocoa bomb here I want to try. Maybe tomorrow..if this isn't cocoa weather, I don't know what is

I haven't had hot cocoa in a long time. I have been wanting to make some. I might make some today. I use just water to make it. I don't add anything extra.
