I got some things done this weekend, but never enough.
More doctor appointments for Bob were scheduled.
We went to Newton this afternoon, to pick up a few things (cat treats, kitty litter, etc.) and do laundry. Yes, I am still using a laundromat. The sun was bright, but some of the roads were still a little messy.
My clinical trial appointment was rescheduled to Friday because their shipment of medicine has not arrived yet. It was supposed to be today.
I wanted to buy a new microwave. Ours is old and ugly. Still works, but for how long? I did not want to spend the time shopping, though, as we wanted to be home and unloaded before dark. We were. I will get one soon, though.
My bed is calling for me. I will get offline and let my brain relax a bit.

On the one hand, I feel we have saved on electricity and water at our house. On the other hand it is a pain. I never liked the washer I bought nine years ago, it just did not seem to get things clean as I like. I want something that is more compact when I get around to replacing it.

@GardenGerty I hate laundromats but there is a really nice one in Westport, about 30 miles from me. When I decide to drive there, I make it a day to stop at the Marina and then the state park coming back to visit the rangers and park staff (I host there.) I may have to do one more trip or go to my ex-daughter-in-law's before in the house.

We chose to stay in because of all the snow. That just left a lot to do when we did get out. How are you and your son doing?

I do what I can to be safe. It is hard to get replacement parts for people my age.

That is just it, I do not remember exactly when we got it, but it was before we moved to this house, over ten years ago.

You got a lot more snow and sleet than we did. This was a "nice" storm as in we did not get ice with it. Last year about this time we got three inches of ice, then the snow. It took it forever to melt off.

Sometimes even when we have been really productive, we still feel like it's never enough especially when we have too many lists of to dos.

It will be good, but the kids will be antsy because they cannot go out for recess. Too cold.
