How do you sweeten your tea or coffee?

I am not a diabetic but I believe I must be careful. In my last test for blood sugar it was about 5 point below the threshold. Who knows any day I might cross the line. I am a regular tea drinker and occasionally I take coffee. The coffee we get this side of the country is the instant one ( Nescafe).
To cut my sugar intake I have begun using "Sugar free" pallets to sweeten my tea and coffee. I don't know if it has any side effect.
Perhaps in other parts of the world other alternatives are available. Please share what you use to sweeten your tea or coffee.

I need to watch my sugar levels too but I still put sugar in my coffee. Some sugar substitutes have aspartame in them which some believe has long-term negative effects. A friend cut down on her sugar (in coffee) little by little until now she is able to have it without sugar.

I used to use Sweet N Low, a zero calorie, no sugar option for my tea. I don’t drink tea or coffee much anymore though. But for my tea now, I add honey.
You are wise to watch your sugar intake. No one ones to end up diabetic with all of the terrible side effects it brings.
