Trying to inquire about my unused Broadway show ticket

I’m trying to see what my options are for the unused Broadway show ticket from Sunday’s Chess Musical. My mom never made it to the theater due to snowy conditions and transportation issues. I do not want to lose that money. Wanna see if they will refund me the money for that ticket or perhaps allow me to use it for a different performance of this musical. I called Telecharge yesterday (where I got tickets from) to inquire about my options. Was on hold for a bit and was offered the option to have them call me back so took it. They didn’t call me back till early evening. I wasn’t able to get to the phone in time when they called. Tried calling them again today. Was on hold for a bit and decided to do the callback option again. Waited a bit for a call from them and when none came I went to shower. Toward the end of my shower I heard my phone ring. Obviously I wasn’t able to pick up the phone. Turned out it was them calling me back. Did attempt #3 just now and called them again. Was on hold as usual and after waiting for about 15 minutes decided to take the callback option again. Now waiting for a callback. I will have the phone on me at all times in case they call. Even when I go to the bathroom. Though I hope they want call while I’m on the toilet. UPDATE: They called me back. On the day I want to see the show I have to call them and ask them if “past-dated” tickets can be used for that day’s performance. If yes, I guess then they’ll tell me what I have to do. I doubt it will be the same seat of the unused ticket but seems I use the past ticket to get in.

Once my mom decides on the day she wants to go I’ll call and see if her ticket can be used for that day’s show. Not sure how it works though. Supposedly you use the unused ticket from Sunday’s show to get in but not sure where you sit. Doubt it’s the same seat.

@LindaOHio it may turn out that the seat I’m given is more expensive than what I paid originally so I’ll have to pay the difference.

Now I have to deal with seeing if I can use this ticket for a future performance of this slow. Don’t like the idea that I have to call telecharge on the day I want to see the show to see if I can use my ticket for that day. If not, have to keep doing that until I finally get to use the ticket. Not even sure if I’m the only one who will be able to go or if my mom can go. She is the one I bought the second ticket for.

Don’t like that I have to call day of performance to see if I can use my ticket for that. And there’s no guarantee they’ll be able to honor it that day so may have to keep calling back till they do for a different performance.

It's awkward when you're waiting for a call back.

If she will be able to use the past ticket for a different day, she will have to go alone. I don’t mind seeing the show again, but it’s expensive. I’d rather go to a different Broadway show that I really want to see.

@Ineeddentures it will be hard to do because it’ll depend if she’ll be able to use her ticket and if there will be empty seats anywhere for me to buy myself a ticket. And that’ll also depend on how expensive they are.
