Glad we will soon see the end of this horrid month. However, they say we will stay cold like this until mid February. Not good at all. I am going to go broke with the heating bills. They will make me cry no doubt. J/K I won't really cry, I will just feel like it. I just paid the biggest bill I ever had, and I suspect the next one will be twice that. We need a break!!! Have you had a big power bill or not yet?

This year, winter has been really bad. My city that doesn't get winter has also got chill weather since December and it doesn't seem to be ending any soon. People hardly used warm clothes here, but this year, all warm clothes and blankets are in use.

@snowy22315 It's not bad and freezing here. But too cold and freezing in North India. In my city, getting temperature in single digit is not expected. But we had it since December last year.

I'm so sorry, I hope it warms up for you quicker than what they are saying! Yes, my light bill was $723 last month.

My last two bills were my lowest of the year, but you know I can take the cold. Also, keep in mind December 27th, it was 86 degrees. I didn’t save money that day though because I turned the blasted air conditioner on those hot couple of days. This coming bill though, will undoubtedly be high. It won’t be pretty.

My current one just came in. It's bad but it didn't encompass all the freezing weather we have been having and will continue to have

AT this point I don't care if it is 80 degrees after mid February and into March, we deserve it.

I'm sure many of us are going to get hit with very high heating bills. Nope not a fan but I'd rather be warm and glad I have heat. I'll figure out a way to cover the extra cost. I'm really hoping, though, that we do get a break with this beyond cold temperatures soon.
