The retired maintenance guy is still here working

I was so confused on Monday when my coworker was here digging out my car. I saw one of the maintenance guys and asked him who was doing the plowing. He said Ted. Ted retired at the end of last year.
He has been back in service for the past several days *and* my nosy downstairs neighbor said that he isn't getting paid. He is just plowing because no one else here can do it. Very weird. You'd think they would have to pay him for insurance reasons.
When I finally retire I will not be one of those crazy teachers who returns to sub. When I walk out of there I will be OUT for good.

He must be a very special guy to do that.

That is right after you are done, you have to look for things that you enjoy doing.

They are going to have to show someone else how to do it eventually.

I do not blame you for not going to teach when you retire.
