It Should Be Against The Law For It To Be This Cold

Happy Thursday Everyone!
When I got up this morning my phone said 2 degrees F. I didn't even ask Alexa for the weather because I didn't want to hear what the "feel like' temperatures were. The sun is shining (hallelujah) but it's not going to melt any of the icy snowy stuff on the ground.
This frigid cold is really flaring up my arthritis. My knees are so bad today that I am using my moms old walker to get around. I feel so old 
I did make the pea soup yesterday and there's plenty leftover. I'll have that for my lunch and I'm happy that it isn't one of my daughters favorites so there's more for me 
Since my day will mostly be a sitting day I have plenty to keep me busy in addition to my time here on myLot.
I have some tv shows that I've fallen behind on which I would like to watch and catch up. My older daughter mentioned something about one of the shows when she was here the other day and spoiled an episode for me. She didn't realize I hadn't watched it yet but it's really my fault for falling so far behind.
I have a new James Patterson book I want to start as well as the projects I'm crocheting. So. no way I'll be bored.
Tonight we'll be having chicken cordon bleu which we get in Sams Club. It's frozen and all you have to do is heat and eat. It's so good that we buy it frequently. Probably have mashed potatoes and of course a veggie.
Can't say there's anything exciting going on with me.

I got some important phone calls done already, but I have a few more to make. Then, I have some reviews to do, and surveys to answer.
I sure wish your knees weren’t so bad. Winter used to kill my dad’s knees before he got a knee replacement. I’m not advocating that for you, of course. I just always felt so badly for him.

My knees will never get better but some days are just worse than others. My doctor hasn't even recommended knee replacement but I'm sure at some point he will. That will be a big decision for me.

@Marilynda1225 If it makes you feel any better, everyone but my dad that I know (about 6) who had knee replacement, recovered very quickly. The only reason we believe my dad didn’t is the surgeon. And he prescribed my dad weak pain medicine my dad told him had never worked on him. So he basically went through it with no pain medication whatsoever. My dad isn’t a big pain medication person anyway, but with that surgery, you need it.

It'a going..Going out today after lunch. Have you thought about doing an alternative therapy for your knees? There is one called QI Kinetics or something.It is a no surgery option. It might be good just for a consult.I will look up the name..wait a minute..not sure if it is right. OK, it is QC Kinetix,

Yes I'm a "nasty mom" but I'm happy that I don't have to share my soup. She ate it for dinner last night but it's just not a favorite for her. It's my favorite soup. She eats stuff I don't like

aww Im so sorry the cold is making your knees hurt so bad. Thankfully you have that walker still! -2°F here.
I need to clean and work on valentines I’m making for our geocaching Valentine’s Day event. I’m taking these containers and filling them with hot cocoa and making a tag that says I like you a Watt.
