Heard about a method of clearing ice

I have not known this before but apparently if you had a small amount of rubbing alcohol to water it works like a charm. I will try that on my car because although the back in clear, there is still thick ice on the front, or there was last time i looked. another thing i saw on the news was using a plastic cutting board to clear thick ice, and just using a scraper to clean up. I will employ these methods. Oh, and I wouldn't use this on the car, but I found my rock salt so I can use that on the steps.I will also let the car run for awhile to help with the defrosting process.

It might be interesting to you, but pain in the butt to us. I mean I am comfortable in the house..but in general I don't like staying at home that much.

@snowy22315 It's only interesting in that I've never had to deal with it and have never thought about having to be stuck indoors for so long. Maybe 'interesting' wasn't the right word.
