Not tomorrow or the weekend either. It like walking on an iceberg in front of my house. I had moved the car further down the driveway just to check if it would move..but I can't,t get to it. It is worse walking than the other day. I was checking if instacart had 4 wheel drive vehicles available. Tomorrow better be the day though..I am not desperate for anything, but am low on fruit and wet cat food. The guy at insta said they will figure out a way to get my order to me but it would likely be delayed..sigh! I guess I could ask my neighbor..I hate to impose though.

No, not worth it..I have enough food to last although I am low on fruit and coffee..last can of wet cat food, but that isn't essential I have dry.

Oh, no...I am glad you are not going to attempt it and risk falling on the ice. But yes, if you need things, it wouldn't be imposing to ask the neighbor. Didn't you say they have a truck? Maybe they are going out anyway, and wouldn't mind picking up an order for you. I would hate to see you count on Instacart and then they didn't make it to you. Neighbors run off a lot .I hope they are going to be around I think after the weekend the temps will start to improve a bit. However, what ever I have to do is better than falling and getting injured on the ice

Most definitely you do not want to fall on ice and be hurt. I've done that before, and it's not fun at all!

@MarieCoyle Friend fell but he didn't get hurt. Another friend, my ex who broke his leg..won't go out at all. My son was over there cleaning ice off his car.

In a storm like this, it is not imposing on the neighbor!! Go ask!! I'm sure they will be happy to help you!! Stay warm. It's freezing down south too. Tonight is the first night in over 7 days of not beging below 32! Then we are back to deal with the weekend storm.

He already cleaned the majority of the driveway with a front loader. I will ask if I need to..though

You definitely think about it more. Monday looks like a good day for escape but if I can't get out then..and don't have an insta cart order will definitely call the neighbor. I just need the ice to get slushy enough to walk on

It's gone on for days now..It will be over a week by the time I get out of here. Thank God I bought so many groceries prior to the storm
