She is on permanent disability because supposedly she has arthritis in her ankles. Doesn't stop her from doing Instacart orders though. She is allowed to work up to a certain $$ amount without it affecting it. She has been through job after job after job. She does a couple of months and then quits. No wonder she went the disability route. Problem is that it pays her rent, cell phone bill, and that's about it. She is always begging her sister to send her money. She's intimated to me that she needs money to pay the bills but I'm not going there. I've sent her money for watching the cats when I've been in hospital but I'm not going to just dish out money for nothing.
Yesterday she told me that her 18 year old son quit his job. He tried to get a job for like a year and after a few months he is done. Seems he is learning from his mother. What is crazy is that he was giving her some $$ for the bills and now he can't do that. She still thinks he made the right decision. They are going to wind up being evicted within the year.
Like just go get a real job, give up the disability, and make as much as you can. I wouldn't be able to function if I was always in the red each month and was begging people for money.
