Cleaning Supply Storage

In my previous apartment and other places I lived I kept most of my cleaning supplies where I cleaned. For instance when I had room in my bathroom cupboard I kept my bathroom cleaners, toilet bowel cleaners, etc. in the bathroom cupboard. The kitchen cleaner, oven cleaner, microwave cleaners, and so on in the cupboard under the kitchen sink. Where it would be convenient to get to. My dust spray and wands, carpet cleaner, etc I kept in the bottom of the linen closet as well as anything else I might not have room for in the other cupboards. Where do you keep yours?

The same as you. Where they're convenient to the rooms the cleaners are made for. Bathroom cupboard, under the kitchen sink and in the hall closet.

Exactly! My daughter has the biggest bathroom and the linen closet yet she puts all their bathroom cleaners in front of the kitchen cleaners under the kitchen sink. And we have a very small kitchen and I have a very small bathroom too, yet I keep my bathroom cleaner in my bathroom. She got upset with me one time because I wiped the kitchen counters down with just water on my paper towel instead of cleaner. I can't reach the kitchen cleaner, more or less even see it!

@dfollin Our cleaners are in the bottom of the cabinets so Pretty can reach them, too. Not that she ever uses any but, if she ever wants to, she can reach them. I do most of the cleaning here. She runs the vacuum cleaner but that's about it. I do everything else.

@Ineeddentures I love them! I have had mine for years! They grab up dust, dirt, hair and such and locks it in the cloth things.

@dfollin I can't wait to use it, might mean I spend less time moving ornaments to dust around

I pretty do what you do. I need to have those places in order and tidy so I can always get what I want to use without going on a hunt.

Exactly! In this apartment like most, the kitchen is near the front and the bathroom is at the other end. So what’s the point in spending time and energy walking to the other end to get the cleaning supplies?

I do much the same. I try to keep things close to where I'm going to be needing them.

@dfollin We're all different. I think we get a bit smarter as we get older maybe.

I bought a nice cabinet; and now all the cleaning supplies are in one place.
